But anyways, choose your non-lethal drawing weapon and let’s get started!
How to Draw a Soda Bottle Easy Step-by-Step
1. Draw the Soda Bottle
So first, draw an arched curve towards the top left of your page in a ‘r’ shape…minus the overextended vertical line on the ‘r’.
Then, keep that line pushing down and curve it to the right at the bottom of your page.
So next, draw another ‘u’ curve next to the 1st.

Then, in a very predictable plotline, draw another ‘u’ shape and draw a vertical line up on the right side.
So now, we’re simply mirroring our drawing on the left so our bottle outline is in sight.
Then, with a teeny flick of your wrist, draw a short curve up on both sides of the bottle to give it a neck.
So now, in a surprising (very much not) turn of events, let’s add a bottle cap! To do so, draw a curved line like so:
Then, draw 1 soft bracket curve on either side for the sides of the bottle cap.
Finally, for the bottle cap’s final act, complete it with a wide oval at the top.
2. Draw the Bottle Label
So now, draw the bottle label with 2 smiley curves centered and parallel to each other.
Then, we need our label design so start with a ‘n’ curve in the bottom left of the label.
So now, draw 2 parallel stacked ‘n’ curves on each side of the newly-created head.
So, for me, in my heart of hearts, this is strawberry soda so I added a scalloped edge to each of the cat ears to make a cartoon strawberry.
Then, draw a pill shape with 3 ‘u’ curves on the bottom side of the pill for each eye.
So now, draw a limp noodle shape for his mouth and a ‘n’ angled towards his mouth as his paw.
We needed that paw to hold a mini soda bottle that he’s drooling over like you spy with your little eyes below:
So now, to make it obvious to our customers that this is a soda, write it in bubble letters beside the cat.
Then, draw some ‘n’ curves of different sizes & angles for the strawberry fruits.
So, here’s how I made the 1st strawberry top. I drew a pill shape and added 2 loops inwards on one side.
Then, repeat that for the other 2 strawberries. It’s a cuter leaf top than just drawing a few leaves & also ✨cartoon-style✨
3. Draw the Soda Drink
So now, we’re going to draw the soda drink, starting with a wide oval.
Then, curve it down on both sides to trace the outer border of the bottle.
Keep going 👩🎨🧚✨
Then, complete your soda drink like so:
4. Add Finishing Touches & Bubbles
So now, draw a strawberry on the bottle cap & a short curve on the bottle neck to give it a snatched moment.
Then, we’re going to go on a circle tirade, starting with these 3 for the bubbles because what is a soda without carbonation?
Basically, draw bundles of 2-4 circles of different sizes and overlap some of them for variation & funsies.
It’s okay that some circles extended over the label’s edge but just erase those bits so you have something like this:
How to Color the Soda Drink Drawing
1. Add Flat Colors
So, the way light shines through plastic & glass will change the depth of blue you see on the bottle so the easiest way is to draw some blue blobs along the bottle.
Then, color the drink pink.

But also, color the label & cap yellow because yellow looks slay with strawberry colors.
Then, add your reds.
And shocker, your greens as well.
Then, color the cat and the bubble letters pale pink because he’s a star so he can’t be the same shade as the drink.
And color his mouth red and the mini bottle the same colors as your big one…so just pink and yellow.
Then, for the last episode of the flat colors, dot yellow on each red bit of the strawberries.
2. Shading
So, open a Multiply layer in CSP (Clip Studio Paint) and using the same pink color as your drink, shade the bottom of the drink below the label.
Then, repeat that in a ‘w’ motion at the bottom in another multiply layer.
Then, shade yellow along the bottom of the label for its own contour vibes.
But also, on the bottle cap.
3. Highlights!
Then, we need our bottle to shine bright so upsize your pen to size 15-20 and draw a ‘!’ along the top of the drink.
Then, repeat that with a light yellow pen and draw white highlights on each strawberry and the bottle cap.
Then, lock the pixels on your layers for the drink, bubbles, and neck curve and merge them together. Finally, airbrush the layer white and you’ll get this:
Then that’s it!
