What You’ll Need to Draw Strawberry Tart Cat

I’m not going to gatekeep drawing so you are absolutely welcome to just use what you have to draw with me <3. That includes:

How to Draw Strawberry Tart Cat Step-by-Step

1. Draw the Strawberry Tart Crust

So first, draw a curved brown line on the bottom left of your page.

So now, continue from the bottom of that curve and draw a straight line to the right. But also, mirror the curve on the right as well.

So next, draw a ‘v’ curve on the top left to start forming the tart crust <3.

Then draw a broken line to start defining the bottom of the pie crust.

Then add broken lines along the right side as well. But next, draw ‘)’ curves along the other top side of the crust.

So now, continue that pattern to the right.

Then finish it at the right end <3.

2. Draw an Outline of Strawberries and Cream

So next, draw large curves extending up from the tart’s crust.

Then continue the 2nd curve downwards so you have a large rock-like shape. This will be your strawberry! Repeat that for the 3rd strawberry as well.

So this is what your strawberries should look like for now. The outer strawberries are just curves because we’re gonna throw some cream on top for extra vibes.

So as promised, let’s draw a cloud shape for our cream starting on the left!

Then continue your cloud cream from the right side.

So then, complete the cream’s drawn outline.

So next, add some more ‘c’ curves in the center of the cloud. This is where we’ll place our strawberry tart centerpiece!

Then, draw curved lines randomly throughout the tart’s cream for some added definition.

3. Make the Strawberries Cats!

So now, draw some ‘v’ curves onto each strawberry. This is to form the strawberry cats’ ears so if you’re not really a cat fan then you’re welcome to skip it!

Then, draw some random expressions of your choice! Draw an ‘-O-‘ expression for the 1st strawberry cat.

So after that, draw the same semicircle mouth but this time, with vertical eyes for cat #2.

Then, add a suspicious cat face to your 3rd strawberry cat drawing.

So now, add a wobbly mouth to the last cat as if he’s distressed by the cream on his face.

4. Add a Strawberry Cat Centerpiece

So now, that cream crater we made earlier is having its moment to shine. Because now it’s time to add this cute strawberry cat drawing which we’ll modify in a bit!

How to Color the Strawberry Tart Drawing

1. Color the Tart Filling and Crust

So next, let’s add some quick flat colors! First, color the tart crust Brown but leave a gap to draw the custard filling.

Then color the custard yellow. But also, draw some wavy lines in a darker yellow for some slight texture in your custard!

2. Color the Strawberry Cats Red

So now, color each strawberry red. It doesn’t have to be even since we’ll go over it with shadows and highlights!

3. Add Shadows on the Strawberries

Then, add the 1st shadow on the right of our centerpiece strawberry.

So now, color a shadow on the side where each strawberry is under either the cream or another strawberry.

4. Add Strawberry Highlights!

So after that, color a yellow highlight in the middle of the 2 middle strawberries. But also, on the left of the ‘-O-‘ strawberry & our centerpiece.

Then lastly, add the same highlight on the right side of the wobbly mouth strawberry cat.

Then, for the exciting part, color slightly transparent yellow dots across each strawberry!

So now, draw the glossy highlights as a curved line and a dot at the end along the cat ears, paws, and face.

5. Add Shadows to the Tart Crust

But also, draw brown shadows along the tart crust where you see below.

Then that’s it!
