How to Draw Strawberry Cake Pop Cat Step-by-Step
1. Draw the Outline
So first, draw a circle floating in the air on your page.
But surprise, there’s actually a full strawberry cat already here. You can learn how to draw that cutie patootie cat here first or just keep it at cake pops.
Then, draw an overlapping circle right next to the 1st.
2. Draw the Sticks
So we’re speeding through this & next up is the sticks! So, draw a line extending down.

Then, make a rectangle for your stick outline.
So next, make another rectangle for the 2nd cake pop stick.
3. Add the Frosting & Other Details
So now, let’s start making a wavy line. I’ll leave you this 1st wave to get comfortable.

Then, keep it grooving until you have a full wavy line across your cake pop. That’s your icing!
So next, repeat that for your other cake pop because we can’t leave the 1st cake pop alone.
Then, add some chipped rectangles to make the sprinkles for each cake pop.
So now, let’s add cat ears! Don’t fight it, just let the cat vibes take over. Draw 2 ‘n’ shapes on the right cake pop.
Then, add a scalloped edge or 3 ‘c’ curves on the bottom of each cat ear which actually just makes a strawberry.
So now, draw a ‘n’ border around each strawberry to complete the cat ears.
Then, add 2 caterpillar eyes for my idea of strawberry leaf eyes.
Then, add 2 short lines as whiskers on each cheek & a frown in the middle to make the cake pop’s face.
So in case people didn’t get that this was strawberry-themed, draw a ‘c’ at the bottom.
Then, add a strawberry leaf top with a looped edge.
By the way, now would be a great time to erase one of the overlapping lines of the cake pop circle. I didn’t but you should be better than me.
So now, draw a small wavy line on top of the left cake pop.
Then, add another strawberry as a ‘n’ curve above the wavy line so it’s embedded in the cake pop.
And you thought that was it? Nope, draw 3 curved lines extending from the middle strawberry so it’s a party.
Lastly, for the sketch, draw 3 curved lines to indicate a rattling motion. Or don’t, it’s your free will.
How to Color the Cake Pop Drawing Easy
1. Add Flat Colors
So first, color the cake pops pink.
Then, color the frosting green so it’s like a real boy strawberry.
But also, color the ears pink.
Then, color the strawberry fruits red too.
And color the leaves darker green so they stand out against the frosting a bit.
So now, our strawberries can’t be bare so draw some small yellow lines as seeds.
Then, repeat that on the cake pops for fun.
2. Shading
So now, it’s shading time! In a Multiply layer, airbrush a broad pink wave under each frosting line.
Then, airbrush a a curve on the bottom of each cake pop.
So next, airbrush a green wavy line in a Multiply layer on the green frosting.
Then, airbrush a red shadow on the bottom of the strawberries.
So now, it’s the stick’s moment to pop so airbrush a small yellow shadow on the stick under each cake pop.
3. Highlights
Then, add a white ‘!’ across the bottom of each cake pop.
But also. take your airbrush and draw a broad curved line on the right cake pop where your ‘!’ is.
So now, draw small red lines along the edge of one side of each strawberry.
Then, repeat that for your popsicle sticks because everyone deserves a little glow.
Then that’s it!
