How to Draw Pocky Sticks Step-by-Step
1. Draw the Box
So first, draw a vertical line swooping downwards.
But give her a little element of ✨🧚slay🧚✨. Make sure your line has a little bend and isn’t exactly 0 degrees 🧍♀️
So now, draw a horizontal line at the top. No pizzazz to this one — just a line will do.
So next, draw a line down from the open edge of your horizontal line. We are in the process of serving “box” 🎀📦 but make sure to angle it to the left.
Then complete the rectangle at the bottom!
Then, draw a horizontally flipped “L” shape parallel to the bottom right of your rectangle🐇
So now, add the remaining leaves as more easy curves.

Then repeat that for the other 2 strawberries!
2. Draw the Box Lid & Design
So next, connect the floating “L” to your box with 3 short angled lines and start adding the box lid 🐇🎀
Not even the pocky sticks will be unsheltered today. They demand a roof🏠

Then connect the lid to the box at the bottom with 2 short angled lines.
So after that, draw a short horizontal line between the vertical line of the lid and the top corner of the box to define the inside of the lid.
Because we want to show she’s open for business woot woot! 🕴️🧚✨
So next, draw a dome-like curve in the bottom right of your box. But also, oop- is that a cat ear? It absolutely is so add that in as 2 soft triangles.
Then mirror that cat ear on the right🐈. Because we don’t want him lopsided.
But remember, this is strawberry pocky so not even the cat is safe from the strawberries…including his ears🍓👂.
So, draw a scallop edge at the bottom line of your inner ear triangles.
So then, erase that 1 offensive line running through the inner triangle 🧍♀️and draw 2 ovals with a 3-part scallop edge on the bottom for his eyes.
These are actually cartoon strawberry leaves!🍓🎀
So next, add tiny circles for his eyebrows above his eyes, a half baguette for his arm, and a “)” next to a “w” and lastly, a “(” for his mouth.
Then draw a skinny long oval in his hand.
That’s the Pocky he’s munching and the evidence is 2 dots of crumbs on his cheek. It’s so delicioso, not even Strawbaby Cat could resist a taste🧚🎀.
3. Draw the Pocky Sticks
So now people, you have options for your pocky stick guidelines. First, a long oval or a rectangle. Whatever you choose, overlap them like this:
Then another pocky stick rudely placed itself over Strawbaby Cat’s face but we will soon fix that injustice. For now, copy it to your own drawing✏️
So Strawbaby Cat’s genie wish is more pocky sticks and what the cat wants, he shall have🧞 so go crazy and draw like you see them below.
But if I may, there’s one pocky stick that I drew 2 parallel lines to make a rough “w” bite. Someone suspicious snuck a bite *pans the camera to Strawbaby Cat*📸
Then let’s give these pocky sticks the cutie patootie makeover they need by drawing a short curve at the top and bottom of each oval.
So now, after you erase the excess oval bits, you should have this (sparkle sparkle x10)!
Then let’s make the strawberry flavor more obvious by adding some strawberries to the front of the box. So draw a “u” shape in different directions and sizes.
So next, add a squiggly top of leaves like you see below. This is just a stocky oval with a looped edge on one side. Don’t let a leaf top scare you, you can do it.
Then, write “Pawcky” on the side of the box because we’re not selling the real stuff.
Finally, drop this special guy in between the pocky sticks at the top.
But also, draw 2 small circles overlapping the top edge of the box. How else can he support himself without his little paws?
How to Color the Pocky Drawing Easy
1. Add Flat Colors
So first, color his body white. Because we don’t need to see all that.
Then, color the box light yellow, 3/4 of the sticks pink, and the other 1/4 light brown. The pocky vision is coming together, pookies 🧚🎀
So next, color all the berries red. We only have premium ripe berries over here.
Then, color the leaves and the letters green.
2. Add Shadows of the Night
So next, Batman isn’t the only star of the night. In fact, it’s the dark yellow shadows on this box.
But you can get this by using a ‘Multiply’ layer and coloring the box the same yellow you used for the front of the box.
Then, add some shadows to the right of each pocky stick. You don’t choose the way of the bat. It chose the pocky sticks.
So next, add some light purple or pink shadows to the cat faces where the pocky casts a shadow or the natural shadow of the box hits.
3. Finish with Fenty Glow Highlights
Then, it’s shine bright like a diamond time! So, color a white highlight across the left of each pocky stick and the munching cat’s face.

But also, finish with a white airbrushed “!” on the left side of the box and we’re done woot woot!
Then that’s it!
