How to Draw a Bread Slice Step-by-Step

Then connect the curve to the rectangle at the bottom <3.
3. Draw the Bread Crust
So next, start drawing the crust border from the bottom right.
Then continue upwards!
So after that, continue along the top.
So next, keep drawing your crust border along the bread’s curves.
Then wind your border downwards along the side!
So then, complete the border.
4. Add a Melting Butter Cube
So next, add a square of butter in the corner.
Then, draw a squiggly line around it <3.
So now, continue the wavy line of melted butter.
Then, finish the melted butter squiggle!
5. Add a Strawberry Cat!
So after that, I inserted my strawberry cat drawing which you can learn how to draw step-by-step here!
6. Draw the Jam Spread
Then, draw a wavy circular blob around the cat’s head!
So now, add a curve below his neck.
7. Add Cat Arms
Then draw an arm on either side of the bread slice.
How to Color the Bread Slice Cat Drawing
1. Color the Bread
So first, color the bread beige.
Then, color the bread crust an orange-brown color.
2. Color the Cat’s Arms Pink
Then, because it’s bugging me, color the cat’s arms pink. I’d wait until we finish coloring the bread but this is urgent.
3. Add Texture to the Bread
But also, draw orange-brown dots and oval shapes to give it a bread texture. Then, lower the opacity so it looks natural!
4. Color the Jam Red and Butter Yellow
Then color the jam spread red.
So now, color the butter yellow.
5. Add Shadows to the Jam and Butter
So after that, add a dark red shadow on the right side of the jam spread.
Then, add an ‘L’-shaped shadow to the butter cube!
But also, add a shadow around the butter cube in a wavy line.
6. Add Shadows to the Bread
Then, add a beige shadow on the right side of the bread.
But also, under the cat’s neck as well using a purple color with lowered opacity.
So now, add shadows on the bread under the jam and butter.
7. Finish with Highlights!
So next, it’s time to add little blobs of light red to the jam!
Then, draw white ovals, lines, and dots to add extra highlights to the jam.
So next, draw another white line and a dot on the butter cube. It’s the Oprah of highlights.
Finally, draw a white line along the top left of the bread but lower the opacity so it’s not too visible.
Then that’s it!
