What You’ll Need to Draw a Strawberry Milkshake Cat
Iâm not going to gatekeep drawing so you are absolutely welcome to just use what you have to draw with me <3. That includes:
But I will be drawing it digitally on my tablet using the most affordable software I know, Clip Studio Paint.
I got it because I loved that you get access to a continuously-updated vault of free natural brushes and other materials made by pros to speed up & elevate your drawing process, perfect for beginners.
And you get all of that for a lifetime just by paying once (gasp)! Trust me, those monthly membership fees add up and I want you to be happily creating cute art without breaking the bankđľđŤ.
But anyways, choose your non-lethal drawing weapon and letâs get started!
How to Draw a Strawberry Milkshake Step-by-Step
1. Draw the Milkshake Glass
So first, draw a line curved up at each end at the bottom of the page. Mine’s a little wobbly but don’t shame its wobbles because it’s a sensitive soul.
So P.S. here are some other cake drawing tutorials you may find helpful!
So now, draw a bit upward on each side.
So next, connect each end <3.

Then, angle it upwards to make the base of the glass. If you squint, you can almost see the â¨milkshake of your dreamsâ¨
So next, make a smile shape in that gap we left behind.
P.S. Here are some other super easy cake drawing tutorials you may find helpful!
So now, draw a soft-edged rectangle above that. We can’t have any edges in this hypothetical restaurantđ§đ

Then, let’s get one half of the cup started by drawing a line up on the right.
2. Add Some Whipped Cream & Finish the Glass
So let’s get that glass done by drawing a line mirroring that of the right side and adding a curved edge up top.
Because our hypothetical customers are desperate for a sip đ§â¨
So after that, draw a ton of stacked “c” curves as whipped cream because who even wants milkshakes minus the cream? That’d be a travesty.
Then, keep those “c” curves going down the other side.
Then complete it like this!
3. Draw the Milkshake Dripping & A Straw
So then, draw a wavy drip going down the edge of the glass. We’re starting to get a little pizzazz with our milkshakeđ§đ
So next, keep those drips going & don’t forget to aggressively shake your hand as you do so you get that wavy bit of slayđ
But also, we need an extra long drip because we want to be a little unpredictable. She’s not like other milkshakesđ
Then, draw 2 parallel lines as a straw because we can’t dive face-first into the cream.
Then, extend the straw horizontally so it’s a bendy one that we love.
So next, draw a circular opening at the end for the straw’s hole & 3 small bumps so the straw is embedded in the cream…not just floating in the white space.
4. Add the Finishing Touches!
Then, draw an ‘n’ curve of different sizes in the cream for the cutie strawberries!
But also, draw some curves below each ‘n’ in the cream to embed them in the cream.
So next, we need to separate the glass and the milkshake by drawing an inner border in the cup.
So this is what it should look like when you’re done:
Then, draw some stripes in the straw so it can also be iconic and fun.
But also, add a black cat drawing on the top left. It adds that extra oomph we neededâ¨
Then, draw a ‘n’ curve on top of its head to start making a strawberry hat for itđââŹđ
So next, draw some strawberry leaves as a ‘m’ shape on one side connected to a ‘u’ shape.
How to Color the Milkshake Directed Drawing
So first, color the strawberry red & the leaves green. I think we all need our milkshakes to come with a cute cat hiding behind the cream now.
Then, add some yellow dots on the strawberry for funsies.
So next, color the inner section of the cup light red for a slay base color for the drink.
Then, let’s add some pale blue shapes to the outer section of the glass because y’know â¨refractionâ¨
So now, color pink on the outer edges of the creamđđ
Then, draw some pink swirls in the cream as well. We would never serve boring cream so we absolutely need some swirls.
How to draw a strawberry milkshake cat
So now, color the strawberries red because they’re feeling left out.
Then, color light pink swirls in the red drink so we can start to have that iced blended look eventually.
So now, color every other stripe of the straw yellow because we need a vibrant pop.
Then, draw some yellow dots on each strawberry because it’s just unjust to rob a strawberry of its seeds.
But also, inside the drink, airbrush the light red in a Multiple layer like you see below. Every milkshake deserves its depthđ â¨
Then, in another multiply layer, airbrush a line curving up to the right.
Don’t miss under each drips!
So next, color more pink at the bottom of the cream so it looks like clouds!
But also, color a yellow shadow on the underside of the straw & darker blues on the right side of the glass.
I have some spillover hehe but just politely avert your eyes. It’ll be gone soon!
Then, color some curved red shadows on each strawberry because they deserve their own moment.
But finally, airbrush a white ‘!’ on the left side of the drink in the glass for your last touchâ¨
Then that’s it! You’ve done amazing getting this far. đ â¨
