How to Draw the Carrot Cartoon Step-by-Step
1. Draw the Carrot
So first, draw a widened ‘c’ curve using a brown pen. This is the start of the carrot✨
So now, continue that curve up until we have a ‘c’ shape. We’re taking it 🎶one step at a time🎶

So, let your wrist fall down into the curve but narrow the base at the end. This carrot isn’t a real boy 🥕 so he’s not super elongated but he at least deserves a little point at the bottom 🎀

2. Draw the Leaves
Then, let’s draw a dome curve on top of the carrot. This may be a shocker but that’s the baby carrot’s 1st leaf — a true photo album moment 🌱📸
But also, he must have other leaves so his carrot buddies don’t bully him. So, for the next leaf, draw it taller and partially-hidden by the other short leaf.
So now, to complete the trio, draw another soft ‘n’ curve and he’s fully done sprouting 🐇🎀
3. Draw the Carrot Face
So this may be an unexpected move but just trust the process. Draw a brown circle in the top middle of the carrot’s body 🐇🥕

So then, draw a curved line in the leaf. Because, even leaves deserve their contour moment🍃✨
Then, keep adding one curved line to each leaf to bless their day with a 🎀contour slay🎀
So next, take a leap of faith and draw the whole face. Yes, girlies et al, that includes the caterpillar-shaped eyes, 4 whisker lines, and a ‘^’ frown.
But, you can change the eyes if you’re not down with the Strawbaby Cat signature, that’s up to you xoxo 💞
Then, let’s draw some horizontal lines because the carrot is jealous & wants its contour moment pronto 🌷
But yay, that’s it for our sketch! So now, let’s put our Crayola experience to use ✏️✨
How to Color the Carrot Line Drawing
1. Color the Carrot Orange & Green
So first, color the carrot orange.
So then, color the leaves and his eyes light green. Because he’s shed his awkward vibes and is in the process of “carrot slay”🐇🥕
Then, give his face a little color. I chose beige 🎀
MR. BON TIP 🐇: Remember that if you’re using a ‘Multiply’ layer, you can use the same shade you originally colored with to create a shadow.

2. Add Slay Shadows
But why should a baby carrot be deprived of some depth to his hue? Because that would be criminal. So, airbrush an orange shadow in a “Multiply” layer along the bottom left of the carrot body.
But also, repeat that using beige along the bottom of his face.
