How to Draw Strawberry Yogurt Like a Pro

So you’re lost in the yogurt sauce. Well, let’s bask in it and draw strawberry yogurt easy in only 6 minutes!

I won’t waste your time with endless yapping so let’s show you how to draw yogurt step by step asap.

What You’ll Need to Draw Strawberry Yogurt

I’m not going to gatekeep drawing so you are absolutely welcome to just use what you have to draw with me <3. That includes:

But I will be drawing it digitally on my tablet using the most affordable software I know, Clip Studio Paint.

How to Draw Strawberry Yogurt Cat Step-by-Step

1. Draw the Lip of the Cup as 2 Ovals

So first, draw an oval at the top of your page in any color you’d like. But I chose brown.

So now, draw another oval around that.

2. Draw the Base of the Yogurt Cup

So next, start to draw a ‘U’ curve down from the left side of your yogurt cup.

Then continue along the bottom. You can draw this part more curve but at the time, it was giving straight bottom to me.

Then finish the ‘U’ curve by connecting it to the right side of the yogurt cup lip. And yay, that’s the base done!

3. Draw a Strawbaby Cat Label

So now, draw a curved line across the top of the cup’s body.

But also, draw a diagonal ‘c’ shaped curve on the bottom right of the cup. This is the start of a patootie label.

Then add two mini curves as cat ears!

So next, draw the inner curves of the cat’s ears. Don’t leave him hanging — he has to hear somehow.

Then oop – it was a twist. His inner ears are really strawberries! So draw a row of 3 ‘c’ shaped curves along the bottom of each inner ear.

So after that, let’s give him some eyebrows as 2 pill shapes. Strawbaby cat isn’t with the trends. He hasn’t bleached them yet.

So next, draw 3 lines super close to each other for each eye. He’s lost in the strawberry yogurt sauce and this expression helps show that!

Then draw his mouth like an upside-down kindergarten bird as in like this “^”!

So then, because he’s munching on yogurt, draw a curved bracket [as in ‘)’ on the left and ‘(‘ on the right] on either side of his mouth.

But also add a paw as one long ‘U’ shape. Because how else is he going to hold his spoon?

So next, draw his spoon as a rod connected to an incomplete circle. Then because we can’t deprive him of his yogurt, draw a blob on top of the spoon.

So now, let’s give our yogurt a little slay. Draw a splash on the bottom left side of the label.

Then add a few teardrop shapes because it’s really splashing.

So now, let’s add some strawberries inside the big splash by drawing a chubby rod shape with two loops inside.

It’s easier to just copy what you see in the picture!

Then erase the overlapping part and repeat this with more strawberries. I added 3 of different sizes but if your heart is screaming for more, go for it.

So now, write the word ‘Yogurt’ capitalized in bubble letters.

Then, add 2 teardrops on either side for emphasis.

So next, draw a bigger strawberry to really solidify that this is strawberry yogurt. And we’re done with the label (yay!).

4. Draw the Yogurt Outline

Then, draw a shaky curve to show the yogurt Strawbaby cat is obsessed with inside the cup.

Then continue this until you reach the other side of the open lid. And that’s your yogurt base (woot woot!).

How to Color the Yogurt Cup Drawing

1. Color the Yogurt Pink

So now, it’s time to grab some paints or colored pencils asap rocky. First, color the yogurt pink. Mine is peach-like but follow the vibes your tools are giving you.

Then use the same pink to color the splash.

2. Color the Label Yellow with Pink, Green, & Red Bits

So now, color the label yellow and the bubble letters green.

Then, because Strawbaby cat is a star, he needs a different color. I chose a pale pink.

Then, color each strawberry fruit red for obvious reasons.

But also, color the strawberry leaves green so they can photosynthesize and give Strawbaby cat juicy fruits to eat in his yogurt.

P.S. The leaves aren’t filled in properly but ignore that and fill them in on your page.

Then, draw yellow dots on each strawberry for the seeds.

So now, color the spoon grey.

3. Color the Cup Lip Yellow

So I decided to be extra and color this in parts. First, draw a yellow ‘/’ line around the top of the exposed cup inside and fill it in to the left corner.

Then, repeat this on the other side.

So now, color a broken line like you see below. But also, color a curved line along the edge of the right lip of the cup.

Then, repeat this on the left side.

4. Add Shadows

So now, in a ‘Multiply’ layer if you’re using a tablet, pick a light purple-grey.

Using an airbrush, swoop below the lip of the cup and along the right side. This will give the cup its shadow moment.

Then, add these shadows along the oval edges and the inside corners of the cup.

So now, color one side of each strawberry ear a dark red.

Then, repeat this for each strawberry because each of them deserves some love.

Oh me oh my, look at how these randomly dropped here just in time for you to see. Maybe it’s meant to be ahaha.

So now, color the left corner edge of the splash with the purple-grey shadow.

Then, color red along the right side.

But also, color red along the top edge of the yogurt.

Then, using a lighter red, color along the right side.

But also, because Strawbaby cat needs some fruit chunks in his yogurt, color some pink blobs in a ‘Multiply’ layer. And that’s all for the shadows!

5. Finish with Highlights!

So now, color a white line along the cat’s paw. Even cats deserve a slay highlight.

Then, draw another white line on the side of the strawberry opposite to the red shadow.

But also, on the pink part of his ears.

So after that, airbrush a white exclamation point on the left side of Strawbaby’s face. He’s a star so he must shine.

But now for the exciting part, airbrush white blobs along the top left side of the yogurt.

Then, repeat this in the splash at a higher transparency.

So now, go over each blob with a solid white pen.

Then, repeat this for the splash. No yogurt that Strawbaby likes shall be without a glisten.

Finally, airbrush a translucent white line along the left side of the body of the cup. And that’s it for Strawbaby Cat’s yummy yogurt!
