What You’ll Need to Draw a Cheesecake

I’m not going to gatekeep drawing so you are absolutely welcome to just use what you have to draw with me <3. That includes:

But I will be drawing it digitally on my tablet using the most affordable software I know, Clip Studio Paint.

How to Draw a Cheesecake Step-by-Step

1. Draw the Outline

So first, draw a brown circle for the top of the cheesecake.

Now, draw another circle for the cheesecake crust.

So next, draw a curve along the bottom of the circle to finish the crust outline <3.

Then, add 2 curved lines – 1 along each side <3.

2. Draw Strawberries

Then draw a semicircle on the left side of the cheesecake for the 1st strawberry.

So now, add a dome shape for the central cut strawberry.

Then, draw the last cut strawberry as another semicircle <3.

3. Add Cat Features & Expressions

So next, draw curved triangles for the cat ears on the strawberries!

How to Draw Strawberry Cheesecake Cat

Then, draw the inside curve of each ear!

So after that, draw a curved line on the inside of the left strawberry.

So next, draw a teardrop-like shape in the central strawberry.

Then add 1 more teardrop shape on the right strawberry! This will be the ‘mouth’ of the cat.

So then, draw a horizontal pill shape for the left cat’s eye.

So next, draw 2 unfilled pill shapes with pupils leaned to the side.

Then, draw a vertical filled pill shape for the right cat’s eye <3. But also, add a slanted eyebrow.

So now, draw a ‘c’ curve for the decorating strawberry.

4. Add a Strawberry Topping

Then, finish the strawberry!

5. Finish with Whipped Cream!

So after that, start drawing bulbous curves in a ring around the strawberry.

Then, continue the whipped cream fluff around to the front of the strawberry!

So now, continue the whipped cream along the right side of the cake top.

Then, start adding defining lines in the cream.

So now, continue adding more definition to the cream.

Then, finish it completely. But also, erase the overlapping lines of the strawberry.

How to Color the Strawberry Cheesecake Cat Drawing

1. Draw Swirls & Strawberry Ribbing

Then, draw large pink swirls in the cheesecake. But also, add them in a smaller size as well.

Then, draw undulating lines randomly in the cake! But also, add pink filled circles as well.

2. Color the Crust Brown

Then, color the crust tan brown.

3. Color the Cheesecake Top Red

So now, add little cat shapes as decor with added teardrops for fun.

4. Color the Strawberries Red & Pink

So after that, color the top strawberry red.

Then, draw the cut strawberries red except for the inner bit.

But also, color that white blank space pink.

So now, draw pink lines on the strawberry topping for the seeds.

5. Add Shadows

So now, open a new multiply layer and airbrush along the edge of the red top.

Then, airbrush red lightly along the bottom of the top strawberry.

So next, airbrush a pink shadow along the right and bottom side.

6. Finish with Highlights!

Then, in a screen layer, airbrush white across the top red part of the cheesecake & lower the opacity of the layer.

Finally, airbrush the top of the strawberry white too.

Then that’s it!
