But anyways, choose your non-lethal drawing weapon and let’s get started!
How to Draw Dango Step-by-Step
1. Draw a Cat Popsicle
So first, draw a long “u” shape for the popsicle stick using a brown pen. Then, draw a simple cat face outline. We’re making big moves from the get-go ✨
Woah. Incoming is some super cute and easy drawing tutorials. Don’t turn down a good and free offer while it’s here. I hope you have the best time recreating these xoxox 🐇🎀
So now, draw two angled open-bottom triangles a bit up from the bottom for the cat ears🌷

Then, draw 1 curved line on each side of the cat ears to form a circular cat face shape. The cats are stacking 🎀 one by one 🎀

Then, repeat that little cutie drawing for the last cat face!
But also, draw an oval in the center of the top cat’s face. We want this dango to give shy guy-core 🎀
So now, draw Strawbaby Cat’s signature slay — his strawberry leaf eyes (like 2 caterpillar shapes!). But also, draw 2 short lines on each cheek for his whiskers & a small “^” as his mouth 🐇🎀
So next, draw a small ‘)’ curve on the left side of the ‘^’ and a large ‘(‘ on the right side. This puffs the cat’s cheeks and adds extra “cutie patootie” vibes to our kawaii dango drawing!
I also drew open-bottom triangles in the cat ears.
Oh wow, how’d these get here? Guess it was just meant to be ahaha 😉💖

So then, draw the same eyes and whiskers for the next dango cat but draw a small smile instead. We’re serving our hypothetical customers ✨variety✨ in their dango orders🌷
Then, draw an oval mouth for the last dango cat because he’s shocked for unknown reasons.
But yay! That’s it for the sketch so let’s get coloring🌷
How to Color the Kawaii Dango Drawing
1. Color the Dango Pink, Beige, & Green
So first, color the popsicle stick beige. There are no surprises here.
Then, color the bottom dango deep green. But if your heart is really vying for light green, that’s freedom of choice, girlies et al 🐇🎀
Then, color the next dango beige.
So then, color the last one pink. She’s shed her awkward vibes and is in the process of “slay”🐇🎀
Then, color each face beige except for the middle one. Instead, color that one light pink so it’s not monotonous ✨
But also, color the eyes green since they’re leaves. It’s Strawbaby Cat lore. If you hate it, draw any other eyes you like xoxo.
2. Add Slay Shadows in a ‘Multiply’ Layer
So now, let’s give the dango its shadow moment. First, airbrush a shadow curving from the right to the bottom and inside each ear on the pink cat.

Then, repeat that for the beige one. Because no dango will be left behind.
So then, surprise surprise, we’ll shade the green one the same way.

Then, airbrush a thin shadow along the bottom of the beige dango’s face. He wants to look scary…so we’ll give him hope with a chin shadow.
But also, airbrush a beige shadow along the top and right of the popsicle stick.
3. Airbrush Highlights in a ‘Screen’ Layer
Now, it’s time for a little shine. It’s his Edward Cullen moment. So in a Screen layer, airbrush pink, yellow, and green on the left side of each respective dango piece 🐇🎀
MR. BON TIP 🐇: Remember that if you’re using a ‘Screen’ layer, you can use the same shade you originally colored with to create a highlight.

Finally, to blind people even more, airbrush a white circle on the left side to give the dango the blinding slay it deserves.
Then that’s it. If you made it this far, congratulations! Strawbaby cat needed a partner for his dango-making journey and we’re honored to have you as a part of it <3.
