What You’ll Need to Draw an Eggplant Easy
I’m not going to gatekeep drawing so you are absolutely welcome to just use what you have to draw with me <3. That includes:

How to Draw an Eggplant Easy Step-by-Step
1. Draw an Eggplant Sketch Drawing
So first, draw a large, soft ‘L’ curve using a brown pen. This is the start of the patootie eggplant✨
Ahem, I know this may be a bit early but if you could check out my other work while you’re here, that’d be so slay🐇🎀
So now, continue the curve up until 2/3 of the vertical line portion. Then, at this point, curve inwards🌷

So next, continue that line gradually upwards. Our eggplant girly is coming along 🎀

How to Draw an Eggplant Easy
2. Draw the Eggplant Leaves
Then, draw this almond shape on the left side for the 1st leaf.
But also, draw some more leaves until the right side. Don’t rob the eggplant of its leaves, that’d be inhumane.
So now, connect the leaves at the top with one curved line 🎀
So next, draw half a baguette shape at the top for the plant stem.

How to Draw an Eggplant Easy
3. Draw the Cat Features
And surprise, we’re adding a circle in the bottom half of the eggplant. It’s not over until it’s over (sparkle sparkle).
Then, draw 2 caterpillar shapes for the eggplant baby’s eyes. This is Strawbaby Cat as an eggplant so he needs his leafy eyes.
Finally, draw a frown like an upside down ‘v’ and 2 lines on each cheek for his whiskers. He’s grumpy because he has no hands to fight whoever turned him into an eggplant.
And yay! That’s it for the sketch so let’s get coloring🌷
How to Color the Eggplant Sketch Drawing
Then, let’s color the flesh part of the eggplant purple!

Next, color the leaves green…we’re making small but steady steps to eggplant slay.
So then, color his leafy eyes green too. What Strawbaby Cat demands, we give 🐇🎀
Then, color his face light yellow so it just has that extra pizzazz pop✨
But I’m addicted to shading & highlights so I got our eggplant baby a little airbrushed yellow shading under his chin.
You can easily do this in a Multiply layer with the same yellow color as before. The wonders of digital art.
So now, give the leaves slight depth with some airbrushed green shading on the left side of each leaf and on the bottom of the stem.

Then, airbrush purple shading across the left and bottom of the eggplant. Woo woo, he’s fully shaded (yay!) 🐇🎀.
So then, airbrush white across the right side of the eggplant and the cat’s face. Not even eggplants will be caught not glowing in public. Truly a horror and a half.

Then, airbrush a ‘!’ on the right side of the eggplant with a smaller circle below it. But also, lower the transparency so our retinas don’t burn when we make eye contact with his ✨glow✨
