What You’ll Need to Draw a Watermelon Cute

I’m not going to gatekeep drawing so you are absolutely welcome to just use what you have to draw with me <3. That includes:

How to Draw a Watermelon Cute Step-by-Step

1. Draw the Watermelon Rind

So first, draw a wide curve using a brown pen. This is the start of the rind✨

So now, draw a curve up on either side. All your watermelon rind manifestations will soon come true🌷

So next, connect the two ends with a concaved (it bends in) line 🎀

How to Draw a Watermelon Cute

2. Draw the Watermelon Fruit

Then, trust fall but🌷drawing edition🌷 So, draw a large curve swooping up until it reaches a plateau.

But also, continue that curve downwards to meet your rind on the other side. The watermelon express train is truly at max speed 🎀

3. Draw the Cat Features

So now, draw a circle in the bottom of your watermelon fruit 🐇🎀

So this may be an unexpected move but just trust me and add a cat ear. The dopamine rush of cuteness will have you in a chokehold by the end of this drawing tutorial.

How to Draw a Watermelon Cute

So then, draw the other cat ear so he can hear us talking smack about his little legs at max volume.

Then, Strawbaby Cat will have his caterpillar-shaped eyes whether he’s a watermelon or not.

But also, draw a ‘^’ shape for his frown and two whiskers on each cheek. He’s angry his watermelon isn’t at its full capacity slay.

Then, draw half a triangle on the left and a full triangle on the right ear for some cutie variation🌷

4. Draw the Watermelon Seeds

Then, the seeds are a must so draw an oval pinched on one side for each seed.

Draw these seeds wherever & in the amount you want. I’ll let your soul guide you in how much of a ✨menace✨ you want to be to whoever eats the watermelon🍉.

5. Draw the Cat’s Body

So then, draw two ‘u’ shapes for his legs. But also, draw a line connecting them so he can run & watermelon tackle you🐇🎀

Then, add two angled ‘n’ curves on either side of his circular face for his arms ✨ Watch out, now he can throw punches even bound by a watermelon.

But to show he means business, draw two curved lines next to each arm so it looks like he’s wagging them at you.

How to Color the Watermelon Pencil Drawing Easy

1. Color the Fruit & Rind

So first, color the watermelon fruit light red.

Then, color the rind green. Simple steps lead to a juicy watermelon 🌷

So then, airbrush light yellow where the fruit meets the rind because we’re serving realism ladies et. al 🎀

2. Color the Cat

Then, color the cat’s face and body a matching yellow because it’s the perfect color for a cutie patootie 🐇🎀

But we can’t leave our cat unable to throw hands in color so airbrush them yellow as well.

3. Color the Seeds

Then, color most of the seeds brown.

But after that, color one seed yellow. You can add the yellow seed anywhere but make sure to keep a distance between the yellow seed & cat. He doesn’t want any competition 🐇🎀

4. Add Shadows & Highlights

So now, shade red below the chin, on the watermelon so he can serve us “scary” energy.

MR. BON TIP 🐇: Remember that if you’re using a ‘Multiply’ layer, you can use the same shade you originally colored with.

Then, airbrush a red shadow along the right side of the watermelon because it also deserves its moment.

But also, shade yellow inside his ears. It’s barely noticeable but you can add it if you’d like.

Then, finally, airbrush across the left side of the watermelon yellow in a ‘Screen’ layer. Because no watermelon shall be left not glowing.
