What You’ll Need to Draw a Glazed Donut

I’m not going to gatekeep drawing so you are absolutely welcome to just use what you have to draw with me <3. That includes:

How to Draw a Glazed Donut Easy

So first, draw a wide oval.

Don’t worry that it looks a little wonky because this is just a guideline we’ll erase later <3.

So now, draw a curve thinning out the left side of the donut.

So next, do the same on the other side as well. But don’t worry if they’re symmetrical or not <3.

Then draw a ‘)’ curve in the center of the donut shape. But also, shade two triangle shapes pointed inwards at either end. This’ll help form the illusion of a donut hole.

Then let’s add a wavy line to start forming the icing.

So now, continue the wavy line across the whole oval until you reach the other end.

How to Color the Strawberry Donut Drawing

So after that, add a cat drawing to your cake! Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to draw this cute strawberry cat. But also, color the donut frosting a reddish pink.

So next, color the donut a light beige or yellow color.

Then draw randomly placed pill shapes for sprinkles! I chose to add different colors but the yellow stands out the best.

So after that, draw white and pink diamond-like sparkles randomly across the frosting.

So next, draw a continuous sweeping white line for some drizzled frosting. You can draw over the cat then erase later.

Then draw a wavy line over his belly to help give the image that he’s dug down in the cake!

So then, draw a fork in his hand and strawberry on his head!

So now, color the cake base yellow!

Then color the strawberries and the wavy strawberry strip red as well.

Then that’s it!
