What You’ll Need to Draw a Cute Apple

I’m not going to gatekeep drawing so you are absolutely welcome to just use what you have to draw with me <3. That includes:

How to Draw a Cute Apple Step-by-Step

1. Draw Apple Drawing Outline

So first, draw a soft ‘[‘ curve using a brown pen. This is the start of apple slay we’re missing in life ✨

So now, draw a curve inwards at the bottom🌷

So next, draw a small curve outwards. We’re taking baby steps, girlies et al 🎀

How to Draw a Cute Apple

Then, draw upwards in a large swoop. If you peer at it long enough, you’ll see a cutie apple forming woo woo!

But also, complete the awkward gap at the top. It’s a new apple, no awkwardness will be tolerated here.

So now, draw a skinny 1/2 baguette shape at the top middle of your apple drawing. That’s its stem 🐇🎀

So next, draw an angled almond shape next to the stem for the leaf.

So then, draw a curved line in the middle of the leaf but don’t do the most and draw all the tiny branched veins. We’re building kawaii drawings over here so simple is best (sparkle sparkle).

Then, draw a circle in the middle of the apple.

2. Draw the Cat Expression

So after that, draw 2 caterpillar shapes as eyes. Surprise, surprise, Strawbaby Cat makes his appearance, trapped in an apple.

Then, draw a frown & 2 whiskers on each side of his face. He’s upset that he’s stuck in an apple.

But yay! That’s it for the sketch so let’s get coloring🌷

How to Color the Apple Drawing for Nursery

Then, let’s color the apple light red! But you can also color it green if you’re feeling 🎀 not like other girls (et al) 🎀

So then, color the stem brown. There’s no rebelling on that one, people.

Then, color the leaf green so it can photosynthesize in peace ✨

But also, let’s color the his eyes green! Strawbaby Cat has strawberry leaves for eyes so even as an apple, he needs his signature slay. 🐇🎀

So now, color his face pale yellow because I think it’s cute.

Then, it’s shadow time, pookies 🐇🎀 So, airbrush a dark red shadow along the bottom right of the apple.

So next, airbrush a darker yellow under his chin since he’s trying to be scary but obviously, failing.

Then, airbrush light red in an ‘!’ shape along the top left of the apple because no apple will be left without a glow.

But also, draw a thick white pen line over that to emphasize it so he blinds everyone with the glisten.
