What You’ll Need: Halloween Black Cat Drawings
I’m not going to gatekeep drawing so you are absolutely welcome to just use what you have to draw with me <3. That includes:

The Halloween Black Cat Drawings
So Mr. Spooky Bon will draw a Basic Black Cat, a Chonky Witch Cat, and a Vampire Cat. Here’s a preview of what each of them will look like:
So I’ll start with the base cat for each of these drawings. If you want, you can color him black and draw some other things like pumpkins or candy corn around him.
But you can also stick around and draw a chonky witch cat. Be real, I know you’re scrolling to the end <3.
1. How to Draw a Halloween Black Cat Cute
So first, draw the curve of the cat’s head in pencil. Then, add two angled curves for the cat ears.
So now, draw a squiggly line on the left to form his forehead and chubby cheek. Then draw a curve on the other side since he’s looking to the left.
But also add the face details as two dots for eyebrows, pill shapes for eyes, two lines for whiskers, and the mouth shape. Note that the face is angled so he’s looking to the left.
So now, draw two larger curves to form the body.

Then finally, connect the curve at the bottom. Add the feet, arms, and tail like you see below too:
How to Color Halloween Black Cat Drawings
If you’re following on pen and paper, skip this section and come back to it later!
So first, select the airbrush on CSP and color the whole cat gray. Then airbrush small pink triangles for the ears and lightly colored circles for the blush.
Then I took a dark grey and shaded along the right and bottom sides of the cat as well as below the arms.
After that, I lightly shaded the cat’s neck and along the left curve of his belly. Then I highlighted the tops of his feet and arms as well as his left side with a light grey color.
And that’s it for the easy Halloween black cat drawing! Yay if you drew it well but if you didn’t, you can still draw your own witch and vampire cats with the outline below <3.

2. How to Draw a Witch Cat Step by Step
So now, draw the brim of the witch Hat like a wide curve. Draw it in pencil or on a sketch layer in CSP.
Then add a cone-like shape to the center of the hat that curves towards the top.

So now add the tip of the hat falling down a bit. Then add dashes to the bottom of the cone to give it more definition.
How to Color the Witch Cat Step by Step
At this step, please go back to the coloring section you skipped earlier and color the cat as described!
Once you’re done, color the hat and circle (the base of the witch orb) a flat light purple.
Then shade the rim, tip, and left-side of the cone of the hat with a darker purple. I did this by creating a new multiply layer and using the same flat purple along with the airbrush tool.
Woah, where’d these come from? But the real question is are you gonna follow them hehe 🐈⬛💖💖
So next, shade the outside of the circle to start to give it a 3D feel.
Then, blend the outside edge of the line art so it’s more cohesive. So after that, create a screen layer and airbrush with the same purple color the right side of the hat and orb.
This will show up as a highlight if you use a screen layer.
So next, in a new layer, add a white line on the right as an extra highlight. Draw diamonds of variable sizes also with a white pen.

But also using a purple pen, draw squiggly lines around the orb for extra witchy vibes.
Finally, in a new layer (below the diamond and squiggle line layer), airbrush purple around the orb to help convey an emanating orb in witchy action.
3. How to Draw a Vampire Cat Step by Step
So if you drew the 1st Halloween cat, the base is the same! Just change the eyes for extra spooky energy.
So first, draw the curve of the cat’s head in pencil. Then, add two angled curves for the cat ears.
So now, draw a squiggly line on the left to form his forehead and chubby cheek. Then draw a curve on the other side since he’s looking to the left.
But also add the face details as two dots for eyebrows, circular shapes for eyes, two lines for whiskers, and the mouth shape. Note that the face is angled so he’s looking to the left.
So now, draw two larger curves to form the body.

So now, let’s draw the vampire cloak and facial features in red. I understand that it may be a bit hard to draw it all in one step so here’s a mini Spooky Bon tutorial! (I’ll add this breakdown later on <3).
So the end result should look like this:

How to Color the Vampire Cat Step by Step
Next, in a new layer below your line art, airbrush the cat a flat grey. But also, in another layer above that but still below your line art, color the eyes, mouth, and ears red.
(I later changed the ears to pink but you can choose whatever color you’d like <3).
So now, in the same layer as your red coloring, airbrush along the red lines of the cloak. I also colored the cat a darker flat grey in the grey color layer.
So next, I added shadows (multiply layers) to the cloak to add depth but also to the eyes and mouth. I mainly shaded along the edges especially on the right side, below the sleeves, and below the chin.
After that, I corrected the red to be a bit more cartoon blood-colored rather than neon. I also defined the paws which got lost in the overall shading of the last step by highlight the tops of its paws.

You’ll notice I corrected the facial features to be more central, I colored the bottom of the mouth in a lighter red for depth, and I added pink blush, dripping blood, and white fangs as well.
